Kennedy Polamalu is a former American football player and current football coach. He was born on November 16, 1963, in Pago Pago, American Samoa. Polamalu played college football at the University of Southern California (USC) as a fullback and was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1986 NFL Draft.
After his playing career, Polamalu transitioned to coaching and has worked at various levels of football, including stints at the college and professional levels. He is best known for his time as the running backs coach at USC, where he coached players such as Reggie Bush and LenDale White.
Polamalu comes from a football family, as his nephew Troy Polamalu is a former NFL player who won two Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
